Sunrise Photograph of Low Dam in Downtown Dayton
I decided on the 4th of July this year to get up a 4:45 am to create a sunrise photograph of the low dam in downtown Dayton. This was especially designed for kayaks and water sports lovers. This photograph was taken at about 6:04 am, 10 minute before sunrise. I had a couple visitors while I was waiting for the light to be just right. This was the first time seeing a beaver in the wild. I think he saw my black camera bag and was wandering what it was. I made a little noise and he swam away. The duck family walked about 5 feet from my without a care in the world. We are lucky to have a great set of metro parks in the county for any kind of outdoor activity.
