The historic photo was taken in 1897 by Orville Wright of Wilbur working in their bike shop. I took my photographs at the Wright Brothers National Park in Dayton, Ohio. This is one of their bike shops which was two blocks from their home. Many of the tools and machinery are original equipment to the Wright Brothers. The quote from nephew Milton Wright in 1904 from a newspaper interview. “History was being made in their bicycle shop and in their home but the making was so obscured by the common place I did not recognize it until many years later.”
